The Clermont Police Department arrested Matthew Johnson an Acupuncture Physician at the One Yoga and Fitness located at 1214 Bowman St. in Clermont. The 16-year-old female victim was being treated by Johnson at this practice on October 30th when she claims he sexually battered her during her acupuncture procedure.
The victim has been a patient of Johnson’s for a “few weeks”. This was the first time he had assaulted her.
Johnson was arrested at his home in Groveland and charged with Sexual Battery. He was turned over to the Lake County Jail. This investigation is still ongoing.
