Members of the Clermont Police Department are once again supporting the “Movember Foundation” throughout the month of November. The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness of men’s health issues and help fund cancer research and screenings for men who otherwise would not be able to afford it. The Movember tradition is for men to grow facial hair as a sign of solidarity. Female members of the department also join in by donning costume mustaches.
Each year the Clermont Police Department team has successfully raised hundreds of dollars for the foundation.
