At approximately 0009 hours on Saturday morning (11/10/2018), Clermont Police Officers responded to Marco’s Pizza located at 4279 S. Highway 27, Clermont, FL in reference to an armed robbery that just occurred. Upon arrival, officers located a white Nissan Titan occupied by two males wearing hoodies and gloves leaving the area. An investigative stop was attempted, however, the suspects (Juvenile Alexander Booth and Hunter Thompson) fled in their vehicle.
Video of the pursuit and apprehension of the first suspect has now been released along with photos from the arrest scene and firearm recovered. The second suspect was arrested a few hours after this incident occurred.
It is believed that this is not the first major crime committed involving these suspects. The Clermont Police Department is asking anyone who may have information regarding other crimes involving Alexander and Hunter to please contact CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS.
