The USPS reported that their Informed Delivery service (which allows you to receive messages with images of all of your mail the day of delivery) has had some security breaches. Hackers are obtaining this information, allowing them to intercept your mail at the delivery point before you can.
Mail theft increases exponentially during the holiday season. Many businesses ship your packages in the actual box the item was sold in, allowing everyone to see what’s on your porch.
Whenever possible, click “gift” when checking out so the business will hopefully package it separately concealing the contents. LSCO suggests that you send important mail and packages to a location that it can be immediately secured, or to an actual person.
