Undercover drug agents with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and the Eustis Police Department recently concluded a two-month investigation targeting a drug dealer on Palmetto Street in Eustis. The investigation began as a result of citizen complaints and information that was developed during undercover work.
Early Friday morning (November 30), SWAT teams from the Sheriff’s Office and Eustis Police Department made entry into the home located at 636 Palmetto Street and secured the scene. Detectives then searched the home, at which time they located a large amount of cocaine and crack cocaine, high-grade marijuana, a loaded Glock .45 caliber handgun, and approximately $2,000 in cash. The street value of the seized drugs is estimated to be $2,500.
Detectives arrested the target of the investigation, 26-year-old Sedale Green, who is a known mid-to-high-level dealer, and charged him with trafficking in cocaine, possession of felony amounts of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
