Jacksonville, FL – In a tragic turn of events, a stabbing incident that occurred on July 9, 2023, has resulted in upgraded charges of Second-Degree Murder against the suspect, Brady A. Robinson (49 years old, Black/Male). The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) responded to the incident that took place in the 500 block of East Bay Street, where a victim was stabbed during a dispute.
Upon arriving at the scene, the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department provided immediate medical assistance and transported the victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. JSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene Units initiated their investigations to uncover the details surrounding the incident.

As a result of their thorough efforts, detectives pieced together the events leading up to the stabbing and identified Brady A. Robinson as the suspect responsible for the attack. Robinson was taken into custody on the same night of the incident and initially charged with Attempted Murder.
Unfortunately, the victim’s injuries proved fatal, and approximately a week later, the victim succumbed to his wounds. Following an extensive investigation and careful evaluation of the available evidence, the charges against Brady A. Robinson were upgraded to Second-Degree Murder.
