Mr. Dajun Williams, Ahmeer Muhammad, and Benjamin Garmon Jr are facing multiple felony charges this morning following their crime spree in our city. Officers were dispatched to an alarm call at the AT&T, upon arrival found the business to have been burglarized. A few minutes later a Good Samaritan called police to let them know the Winn-Dixie was being burglarized. Sgt. Reynolds, Cpl. Blessing, Officers Roberts, and Sorapuru, of Tavares PD, were able to catch the suspects after they fled the scene in a stolen car. Thanks to the teamwork of the Tavares Police Department, Tavares Fire Department and Lake County Sheriff’s Office who assisted with the pursuit, which ended in Mount Dora. At which time the suspects dove into Lake Dora in a further attempt to evade capture. Another burglary committed by these men has been discovered and charges are being added.
