Kids have a fun, safe way to celebrate Halloween this year thanks to the Clermont Police Department.
Clermont Police is hosting a Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat from 5-7 p.m. Fri., Oct. 30 in the front parking lot of police headquarters, 3600 S. Highway 27. Costumes are not required to participate.
“This event provides our residents with a great opportunity to bring the family and meet your local police officers in a fun, safe way,” Chief Charles Broadway said. “We invite the youth in our community to visit us and receive a treat from one of our police officers.”
This is a drive-thru only event and officers will be practicing COVID-19 safety procedures as they pass out candy to participants.
