Everything You Need To Know – Pig on the Pond – Schedule of Events

What is Pig on the Pond?

Pig on the Pond is an annual festival which has been bringing fun to the South Lake community for almost 21 years with delicious barbecue, live entertainment, thrilling carnival rides, fireworks and more.  The festival is an event of Project Scholars, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which provides educational scholarships and support to local students.  Additionally, more than 20 local non-profit organizations participate in the festival as a means to conduct fundraising for educational purposes.

  • $5 for Adults

  • $3 for Children 2-6

  • Free for Children under 2

Carnival Ride Tickets

  • $10 for 10 Tickets

  • $20 for Unlimited Rides Armband

Unlimited carnival rides are available Saturday from 1 – 7 pm and Sunday from 11 am – 6 pm. Armbands are available for purchase until 5 pm on Saturday and 6 pm on Sunday.

For your convenience, ATM’s are located at several sites within the festival. The festival is a dog-friendly event (leashes required).

PARKING & SHUTTLES

There is NO on-site parking at the Waterfront Park, no parking or shuttles from the FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH and downtown Clermont is for customer parking only.  Additionally, there is no parking in residential areas surrounding the Waterfront Park.  NO PARKING designated areas are enforced and vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Motorcycle Parking – available at Cypress Ridge Elementary School off East Avenue. There is no on-site parking for motorcycles.

Handicap Parking – available on-site on a first come basis.  Enter through the main entrance off East Avenue.

Shuttles – Parking and free shuttle service is available at the following locations.  Shuttles run a half hour prior to and after the event.

​Shuttle 1 – Clermont Park & Ride on Hwy 27 North just south of  Hwy 50.​

Shuttles 2 & 3 – Citrus Tower Professional Center located at the corner of Hwy 27 and Hunt Street, one block south of the Citrus Tower.

CYCLIST ALTERNATE ROUTE – Cyclist are always welcome to walk their bikes through the event without paying the admission fee.  An alternative route for cyclist is East Avenue to West Osceola Street to 8th street to return to the trail.  Alternate route sings will be posted at the event.
