Join the Lake County Animal Shelter for its Valentine’s weekend pet adoption event, Adopt Love. The adoption event will be held during normal business hours from Feb. 14-16 at the shelter, located at 28123 County Road 561 in Tavares.
During the Adopt Love event, all animals at the shelter will have their adoption fees waived.
“Nobody wants to be alone for Valentine’s Day, and that includes our homeless pets,” said Whitney Boylston, director of the Lake County Animal Shelter. “We are encouraging residents to meet their perfect match this weekend and hope that our pets will find a lifetime of love through this promotion.”
The Lake County Animal Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter is closed Wednesdays and holidays.
