Local Church to Open as Cold Weather Shelter

With temperatures expected to drop this evening, Trinity Assembly of God in Fruitland Park is opening its doors to those vulnerable to the cold weather. Trinity Assembly of God, 200 Urick St., Fruitland Park will open for sheltering on Wednesday, Jan. 30 from 5:30 p.m. to Thursday, Jan. 31 at 7 a.m.

 

Lake County Transit will pick up residents between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. from the Come As You Are Ministry located at 1344 Griffin Rd, Leesburg. Citizens requesting transportation who are unable to meet at the pick-up location should call 352-742-2612 before 5 p.m.
