On Tuesday, Jan. 14, at approximately 5:40 p.m., a 16-year-old male was shot in the face at Pollard Street and Postell Avenue. He was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment, where he has been upgraded from critical to stable condition.
The Oakland Police Department arrested Daryl Quentin Schofield, 17, from Orlando, at the scene for carrying a concealed firearm. He is currently a suspect in this case. The investigation is ongoing and further charges are expected.
