The Orlando Cat Café will host author Kendra Lott for a book signing of her latest book, ‘Unique Eats and Eateries of Orlando’, on Sunday, July 14 from 11 am – 1:30 pm. Lott’s book is a comprehensive guide to culinary discoveries in Central Florida and includes a feature on the Orlando Cat Café.
“The Orlando Cat Café is both humbled and honored to be a part of this book,” says Orlando Cat Café’s owner, Sandra Cagan. Samples of macaroni and cheese will also be provided during the event by Sweet Tomatoes in Kissimmee, in honor of National Mac and Cheese Day. Patrons who purchase a book will be granted free entry into the Cat Play Area and a sample of macaroni and cheese.* A generous portion of every book sold at the book signing will be donated to SPCA Florida.
Lott is the publisher of Edible Orlando, a comprehensive site and resource for local food, chefs, and restaurants. A native of Orlando with a passion for food writing, Lott has a master’s degree in Food Studies from New York University and worked for Food Arts magazine in New York City. She also apprenticed with the rock-star butchers at Fleisher’s Grass Fed and Organic Meats in New York’s Hudson Valley.
