The Lake County Board of County Commissioners was honored to celebrate 200 volunteers who contributed 20,030 hours of time in 2018. Volunteers provided service in areas including Libraries, Animal Services, Probation, Emergency Management, and more.
“Volunteer contributions significantly assisted the county in offering excellent customer service and assistance to Lake County residents and businesses,” said Jim Kovacs, Human Resources Director. “The volunteers’ contribution of time and effort are exemplary, well-recognized and appreciated.”
During Tuesday’s Board of County Commission meeting, volunteers who individually contributed to more than 150 hours were recognized for their outstanding service. The volunteers recognized for their efforts were:
